A must for those interested in the work of Frank Lloyd Wright

If you are in the Chicago area and are interested in architecture and, especially the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, it's definitely worth it to take the tour of his combined home and studio. It may be helpful to refresh your memory (perhaps via Wikipedia or a YouTube video) before taking the tour. Afterwards, stroll around his Oak Park neighborhood to see some of the other homes he designed nearby.

If you are avid architecture buff and especially a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture, a visit to the Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio is a "must" visit. Located in the residential community of Oak Park, his home and studio is also located among neighboring homes also designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

I found the guided tour to be very informative. Our guide knew her subject very well and not only informed us of significant design aspects of each room, but was also able to answer all kinds of questions about Frank Lloyd Wright from our tour group of about 12 people. As there was a waiting time of about 1 hour, we bought our tickets upon arrival and then did a walking tour around the neighborhood to view the other Frank Lloyd Wright homes (we bought a map at the gift shop showing locations).
