Our community has a system where you can earn points for all kinds of participation. 

REVIEWS

One of the easiest ways to earn points is reviewing a current listing. We have over 50 different categories of listings. How about starting out by reviewing your favorite local restaurants or parks?

LISTINGS

If the listing doesn't exist, you can earn points by adding a new listing. Be sure to use the "Search" function to make sure you do not duplicate a listing.

Other types of activities include uploading photos, friending people, liking other's activities, participating in User Group activities, and so forth.

HOW IT WORKS

This system uses both plus and minus calculations. For example, if you create a new listing you get points. But if you delete a listing, you lose the same amount of points. Points are calculated by the system several times per day.

We don't publish exactly how many points one gains from each activity in order that people don't just do this or that in order to get points. But those users who participate the most will naturally rise up in the "Reviews & Listings" rankings and thereby also go up on the community Leader Board.

MORE BENEFITS

And there are further advantages in getting involved: If you review a location such as a mountain peak, park, or restaurant (any listing), that review is automatically placed on that page with a link back to your own profile page.

So if someone wants to learn more about you, each review you write takes them specifically to your User Page. Google can find them, too. Nice! Plus, your review earns you points on our system Leader Board. Again, more exposure. Very nice!

 A lot of points are related to your participation in the User Groups. So get involved.
