Tokyo Disneyland Resort, or simply Tokyo Disneyland as most people still refer to it, is located in Urayasu City which is just east of the "downtown" financial district of Tokyo. Although located in neighboring Chiba Prefecture, it is only a short train ride from Tokyo Station to Urayasu.
As far as theme parks go, you can imagine that Tokyo Disneyland Resort is the cleanest and most efficiently run of its locations around the world. Millions of Japanese and foreigners visit it each year. If you are a Disneyland fan or a fan of theme parks in general and you have the time, consider a day outing to Tokyo Disneyland Resort. Your kids will definitely enjoy it -- especially if they've been maxed out with temples, gardens, and museums.
