Blue Sky Cafe & Bar

Blue Sky is a great place to go to get a meal or enjoy drinks. If at all possible, I try to stick to the patio, but during the day, the interior is okay as well. At night, the music gets fairly loud and often is pretty bad. Actually, the same can be said for the outdoor patio as well. Most of the time the music is god awful, but I guess some people like the stuff, so they play it. The food at Blue Sky is excellent. Their chicken wings and buffalo chicken wrap are great. Blue Sky is an excellent place to go for happy hour, because the draught beer is cheap and most of the appetizers are only $5. The portions are pretty large, so you can either share them or eat one as a meal. The servers are all very nice and attentive. I have always had a good experience at Blue Sky. I definitely recommend it.

The Blue Sky Cafe & Bar is located in a small mall area on the corner of the intersection of Bryan Road and Highway N which is right at the entrance to the community of Winghaven.

Our favorite thing when we visit this bar is to enjoy their outdoor seating in warmer weather. Don't expect any special view. It just looks out at the parking lot and the back of another building. But we like to enjoy a drink here in the evening.

We do visit the bar year round. When there is an important sports game being broadcast, the bar turns into a sports bar. Most of the time, however, the TVs over the bar are muted and one hears pop music which is slightly loud, but not objectionably loud.

As for the food, we have liked everything we've tried. It is typical pub food and the portions are good.
