Shamrocks Irish Pub & Grill

Enjoyed the Irish flared foods and drinks at Shamrocks with my family. Food taste good and prices were reasonable.

Shamrocks Irish Pub & Grill is a rather spacious one-room facility with a bar counter that serves about 20 or more customers. We were too far away from the bar to be sure, but it looked like they had at least 20 taps. Indeed, they had a very extensive 4-page drink menu including bottle beers (Guinness, of course), draft beers, wines, and spirits. The pub had a special that night for beer buckets but I didn't get the price.

Their meal menu was also extensive. We were told that the kitchen was open until 11PM and afterwards appetizers were available until close. So this looks like a great place to grab a late night meal.

During our Wednesday evening visit, Shamrocks Irish Pub & Grill was hosting a trivia night that started at 8 PM. I believe Monday is also a trivia night. Thursday and Saturday nights were listed as karaoke nights. Most of the customers were aged 30 and up.

There were about 10 flat screen TVs, a TouchTunes jukebox, 3 dart boards, and a seating area with two leather couches. I found the lighting to be somewhat too bright and it would be nice to have some more coloration around the room via lighting. However, since this was a trivia night, the lights may have been brighter than normal. The restrooms were modern and decorated in large earth-tone tiles.

We enjoyed a very good pick-and-choose appetizer platter. Our server was nice and checked on us frequently. Being a smoke-free pub, Shamrocks Irish Pub & Grill at Cave Springs is a rare breed in St. Peters. This is a definite selling point for us. They also have an outdoor patio area available during warm weather. I assume smoking is allowed there.
