Great Place to Meet Friends in Ladue

If you are looking for a great casual place to meet friends in Ladue, Lester's is a very good choice. It is a sports bar but about half the facility has regular restaurant seating in tables and booths. Televisions abound and the bar is rather large.
I found the food prices quite reasonable and the taste was fine for pub food. But the best thing about Lester's is the quality of the facility that puts it way above other pubs. If a sports match is on TV or it is a weekend, you would be advised to call ahead if you wish a table in the restaurant area.
Lester's is located on Clayton Road just by the Highway I-64 overpass. You can get off the highway there if you are going westbound. Otherwise, if coming from the west and heading east, get off at the Lindberg exit and head to the first intersection heading south -- which is Clayton Road. Then turn left on Clayton until you go under the Highway 40 bridge and Lester's is almost immediately on your right through what looks like a gate.
