Pacific Brew Haus is a fantastic pub restaurant located in Pacific, Missouri. It is just south of the Old Historic Downtown past the train tracks. From the outside, it looks somewhat plain. But don't be misled. The interior has been totally remodeled with high quality materials throughout while retaining the historic character of this 1908 opera house building. Look up at the old tin ceiling painted nicely in white.

Pacific Brew Haus has a long bar on one side of the facility and a separate seating area opposite dedicated more to restaurant users. There is also a TV with nice leather chair seating there. But let's get back to the bar where we sat. At the bar, there are 13 taps. They have an interesting selection of beers from Missouri such as Boulevard, 4 Hands, O'Fallon, and some A-B products. But they also had some other craft beers plus Guinness (note the large Shamrock over the bar back).

There are 2 flat screen TVs over the bar back which were muted during our visit. There is also a TouchTunes juke box on one wall. It had a Bose speaker system and the sound level was just right so that one could hold a decent conversation. We also saw a room toward the back divided off by glassed French doors that could be used for restaurant overflow or private parties. As expected, the restrooms were also above par and clean. By the way, the indoors is totally non-smoking which adds to the quality of Pacific Brew Haus.

They had a nice menu with starters, sandwiches, salads, and pizzas, etc. We weren't planning on eating but were tempted by a neighboring customer's pizza that looked so good. So we ordered a pretzel which was large, freshly baked, and tasted very good. It was sprinkled with Parmesian cheese and had a melted cheddar cheese side for dipping. We were impressed with how well they could take a simple pretzel and turn it into something more upscale. So we'll definitely want to try their other foods. The bartender, a very nice blonde girl named Kelsey, was great. She was courteous and checked on us often.

We loved Pacific Brew Haus. In fact, I'm already planning another trip to the Pacific area just to be able to include Pacific Brew Haus in another visit. If you are traveling cross-country and passing through this area or Six Flags and looking for a nice pub restaurant environment, consider a visit. The owners really know what they are doing. I'm adding Pacific Brew Haus to my favorites list.
