The are many hotels close by Port Everglades to serve both it and the Greater Ft. Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center. From many of the surrounding hotels, it is just a short taxi ride to Port Everglades. Also, note that Fort Lauderdale International Airport is not all that far away, either. Together, this makes Port Everglades a great port to board a cruise ship.
