Campgrounds & RV Parks
Beginnings of a Nice 140 Acre Park

370 Lakeside Park RV & Campground is operated by the city of St. Peters, Missouri. The park is located in the flood plain north of Cave Springs at I-70. Just take the Cave Springs exit from I-70 and head north. The road runs right into the park.

The park lake is about 140 acres and the land is very flat. The lake is man-made and is essentially a long rectangle and about 1 mile long (although somewhat narrow). The lake would make a great place for small dinghy sailing and racing shells with oars. Fishing is allowed. Dardenne Creek runs right next to and parallel to the park's lake.

At the park there are no tall trees for shade although there are saplings that should provide cover in the future. There are a lot of open spaces to let the kids run around in. There is an RV park and tent camping is allowed I'm not sure about where tents are to be placed. There is an warden's office towards the middle of the park.

There is also a nice covered dock with paddle boats and kayaks for rent. However, 370 Lakeside Park RV & Campground rules do not allow for swimming in the lake. There is a path that encircles the lake which was being used by joggers and walkers including people with their dogs. Doggy waste bags are available around the path.

370 Lakeside Park RV & Campground is somewhat barren currently but should develop into a nice area with time. St. Peters is close enough to St. Louis that RVers can overnight here and still see St. Louis.
