I had a wonderful time during my stay at Lazy Day Campground. It is primarily an RV campground, but it has a couple places for primitive camping. The woman managing the grounds was extremely kind and very helpful. She made our stay a great experience. Lazy Day Campground has lots of amenities: outdoor swimming pool, hiking trails, small fishing ponds (catch and release only), showers, restrooms, RV hookups, laundry, and a dog park. The dog park is a really great feature. There is a water pump for the dogs and one of those things that dogs jump over in competitions. I thought it was a pretty cool feature for any dog owner traveling cross-country. The hiking trail goes down to a really pretty lake. I would recommend wearing decent shoes because it's rocky.

We had a wonderful time camping at Lazy Days Campground. I am not sure what it is like staying with an RV, but all of the people we saw seemed very happy, so I'm sure it's great. It is conveniently located about 1.5 miles from Interstate 70, so it's really easy to get in and out. The campsites aren't very secluded, but we had a fire ring, picnic table, woods at our front door, and a pond on the other side. Having the RVs in the area made me feel really safe. It was reassuring to know that if anything happened, there were lots of people around to help.

Lazy Day Campground is a well-run campground with lots of amenities. We had a great time camping here. I would definitely recommend it!
