Soulard Farmers Market - Every St. Louisian Should Visit at Least Once
(Updated: October 25, 2021)
Rating

4.0
Having its origin as a farmers market dating back to 1779 and with the present building having been built in 1929, the Soulard Famers Market is a St. Louis traditional site located in the south side of St. Louis City.

A visit to Soulard Farmers Market would probably appeal more to St. Louis residents rather than visitors. However, the Soulard area in general is an old area of the city which has been getting revitalized over the past 10-15 years and has many interesting restaurants and bars. So, if you are in the area and a stroll through a farmers market in an older building appeals to you (and every St. Louisian should visit at least once), then give the Soulard Farmers Market a visit and buy some produce while you are there to support the area farmers.

As of this writing, the Soulard Farmers Market is closed on Monday-Wednesday. Check their website for current information and hours of operation.
