Easiest to Access Fast Food Restaurant from I-64 at the Highway N Exit
(Updated: October 25, 2021)

This Jack in the Box outlet is located in the Petro-Mart gas station/convenience store off Highway N and Hawk Ridge Trail. It is the easiest fast food restaurant to reach from I-64 at the Highway N exit of Lake St. Louis. Likewise, you can quickly return to the highway from here.

The shop is fairly small and only seats about 34 customers. During my visit at about 1:15 PM on a weekday, there were only 3 other customers seated. It appeared that more customers were using the drive through than eat-in.

I really don't have a lot positive to say about my visit. The service was slow and not especially courteous, my "sirloin" burger was dry, and the eating area would not get high marks for cleanliness. In fact, during my 15 minute stay, never once did I see any employee clean up any of the dirty tables nor clean up the condiments and drink area. However, the employees seemed to enjoy chatting loudly among themselves about their personal lives.

I'd visited this Jack in the Box several years ago and had about forgotten about its existence. Now I'm reminded why I hadn't revisited it. However, I did note that they have a Fish & Chips combo which I'd like to try and so may update this review should I get up the courage for another visit when I'm passing through the area.
