A Rather Dirty Dairy Queen, Lacking in Friendly Service

We stopped in at the Dairy Queen in Louisiana on a Saturday afternoon for some ice cream. We had to wait about 3-4 minutes before anyone even acknowledged our presence at the counter. One girl was fixing food for the drive-through and never said anything to us until she finished taking care of her drive-through order. A simple "I'll be with you shortly" would have been enough.
After a long while she finally called another girl in the back of the Dairy Queen to come to the front and take our order (at the same time, there was a guy just watching me from the back while sipping a soft drink). She took our order but no one at all even smiled at us. In addition to the lack of friendly/courteous service, the entire facility was rather filthy and in dire need of a deep cleaning. The tiny restroom was akin to that of a dive bar. I wish we had not tried this Dairy Queen.
