The Hyatt Regency Vancouver is a moderately sized hotel located on Burrard Street. The hotel facilities are nice but somewhat limited as this is not a very large hotel. However, it has a decent street/lobby level restaurant and bar. The rooms and service are up to Hyatt standards.
While you can walk to Canada Centre in 15-20 minutes, there is public bus service plus taxis to get you there much more quickly. Surrounding the hotel is a mixture of office buildings, shops, and restaurants. I would classify this area as more an office district than an entertainment district for which there are limited choices.
