An important national location for those playing horseshoes

This is better than expected. Besides having a National Hall of Fame for people in the world of playing horseshoes, there are two separate indoor competition areas with numerous horseshoe courts.

This locale hosts competition amongst the biggest pitchers in the sport -- all located right here in the Midwest which is quite unexpected. They also host local horseshoe leagues as well as having additional outside courts. It's worth a visit if you have any interest whatsoever in playing horseshoes.
