If you haven't visited the Weldon Spring Site Interpretive Center in many years, things have changed greatly. There is a brand new building housing the exhibits and a 10 minute documentary film you can see about the area. Groups such as classrooms can schedule informative tours of the exhibits. If you live in the area and have interest in what happened here back in the 1940s onward, you'll probably find the displays interesting. See how a radioactive and chemical superfund site has been transformed into a local tourism location.
