A nice hillcrest drive to Matson Hill Park

To me, one of the best things about visiting Matson Hill Park is the drive there. I love the wooded drive along the hill crests and the area is so remote (at least for this county) that one hardly sees any other cars at all once one is off Highway 94.
When I drive there, I make a D-ring type of loop from Highway 94. I've even enjoyed the drive on the paved road in the winter when there is still snow on the slopes.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention the park itself. It currently only has a few miles of hiking/biking trails. But plans are underway to expand this into a 400-acre park. But, again, the drive for me is the greater reason to visit this area of the county.
