Short roadway, Did I miss something?

I visited West Tyson Park on a weekday afternoon in August. Although it encompasses a large acreage per the map, the roadway that we drove on in the park was very short. The road was just one-lane even though it was a two-way road. The entire area of the park that we visited was wooded.

There was the "Chubb Pavilion" at one end of a fork in the road and an equestrian parking area and trailhead at the other end of the fork. The total distance we traveled in West Tyson Park was less than a mile. So I'm wondering if there is another "main entrance" of which I was unaware. I did see several trails at Tyson Park that included horse trails. I also saw a sign indicating a group camping area. But I didn't see any campers nor did I see see any other cars or people in the park. Not too interesting overall.
