Short and simple but fantastic walking trail

The hiking trail at Pickle Springs Natural Area is about 2 miles long. Although fairly short, the hike is referred to as the "Trail Through Time" which takes you through interesting granite rock formations and along the meandering Pickle Creek. The area was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1974. Many consider this one of Missouri's most beautiful hikes.
