I've visited Babler State Park, as most people call it, many times over the years since my childhood. This area once seemed quite remote from even the west suburbs of St. Louis County. But over the years the suburbs have grown out nearly to the park. It is located not far from Spirit of St. Louis Airport although the park is not in the Chesterfield Valley.

There really is not a lot to do at Babler State Park. I tend to think of this park as a place to just relax and perhaps enjoy a picnic at one of the pavilions. It seems that these days I more often just tend to drive the circular loop through the park which is very well paved.
