Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park is not like a national park in the United States where parks generally are separated from surrounding lands and have controlled entrances. In fact, there is very little signage anywhere to let you know that you are within a park area. Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park covers land areas and contiguous ocean on the Yaeyama Islands two largest islands: Iriomote and Ishigaki. I enjoyed the natural areas of both islands -- especially Ishigaki's Kabira Bay.
