Convenient but expensive

I enjoyed using the Big Bus during my stay in Vancouver. However, at CND $40 for a one-day adult pass, it is somewhat expensive.

Since I was based in the downtown waterfront area, I'm wondering if I could have visited all the sights that I did just using public transportation. However, the Big Bus' hop-on-hop-off ride system is indeed a great way to see the main sights of Vancouver.

If you really intend to use the pass extensively, then they currently have a 2-day pass which is CND $45 or just $5 more. They do have further discounts including senior rates, child rates, and a family pass. So check them out if convenience is a high priority and you would rather not rent a car or attempt the public transportation system.
