Fun, Cajun Family Restaurant, Riverside in Waco

I'm from out-of-state and one of my relatives in Waco recommended Buzzard Billy's, so we gave it a try. The restaurant is riverside on the Brazos River where you can enjoy outdoor seating in good weather. We ate indoors during our visit and enjoyed the casual, nautical decor.
This family-style restaurant is definitely popular with the locals. Luckily, we came early in the evening and were seated immediately although the restaurant was already almost full. Being a seafood addict, we enjoyed oysters on the half-shell plus a variety of Cajun foods.
As they say, "Everything's Bigger in Texas" and so were the oysters with a dozen for $12 and they were BIG. Hailing currently from the Midwest, I'd say these oysters were twice the size we normally get and 1/2 the price.
I understand that Buzzard Billy's is a chain restaurant. I hope that someday they open one in our area. Otherwise, I guess I'll just have to visit Waco again.
