Enjoyable Dining in the Washington Avenue Loft District

Lucas Park Grille is located in the Washington Avenue loft district between 12th and 13th Street. It is a nice place for a semi-upscale dinner without getting too dressed up. Business casual will be fine but you won't feel out of place if you dress up a bit more. We didn't check out the bar which is street side, but it looked a lot more casual for those customers not dining.

For starters, there were crab cakes for $10, beet salad for $6.50, and a house salad for $6. Some items on the menu included a 10-ounce NY strip steak for $28, beef tenderloin for $30, a 14-ounce ribeye steak for $30, and Ahi tuna for $28. Although this bird does not imbibe, beers such as Stella Artois were $5 and New Castle was $5.

I enjoyed Lucas Park Grill & Market. It's good for both locals and out-of-towners who want to visit the St. Louis' Washington Avenue loft district in the downtown.
