The Hotel Roanoke - Great Meals in a Tasteful Setting

The Regency Room at the Hotel Roanoke offers very nice dining in a very tasteful setting. It is no wonder that they have won many awards and yet their prices, although not inexpensive, are not way out of line.
Our family stopped in at the Regency Room for lunch on a Saturday on our way to Smith Mountain Lake. The entire family enjoyed our meals in this traditional setting. I also see that they have what must be a wonderful Sunday brunch buffet. I hope to get the chance to try that out someday.
If you live in Roanoke, I'm sure that you are aware of this very nice, restored hotel and its dining reputation. But if you are going cross-country as we were, consider the The Regency Room at the Hotel Roanoke if you are looking for a nice meal in a somewhat upscale setting. Business casual is fine for lunch.
