Above Average Chinese Buffet Facility, But Average Tastes

When I entered the door, I was a bit surprised as China Buffet looks better than your typical Chinese buffet restaurant. Even the restroom I visited was above average with marble tiles although the restroom itself was not very clean. Taste-wise, I was simply disappointed.
Although China Buffet has a decent number of entrees, Japanese sushi, plus a Mongolian style steel plate cooking station, I just was under-impressed with tastes. I was taken aback somewhat by the darkest fried rice I've ever seen while the peel-and-eat shrimp just didn't have much taste at all. Everything I ate was just average in my mind and nothing stood out as particularly tasty.
