When I was looking for a good Japanese restaurant within walking distance of my hotel, the concierge recommended Kamei Royale so I decided to try it out. I visited there around 4PM on a weekday afternoon and since I was there before the evening rush, there were only a handful of other customers there. I sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed some excellent sushi in both taste and presentation. My impression was that, while not inexpensive, it was definitely worth the price. In fact, I liked Kamei Royale enough to visit here twice during my stay in Vancouver.
