Balcony Dining for the Family Near the St. Charles Riverfront

Lewis & Clark's is located on the corner of South Main and First Capitol Drive. South Main is the "main street" of the St. Charles riverfront. The restaurant is directly uphill from the Mississippi riverfront park and pavilion.
This restaurant has been one of the main restaurants of the area for more than a decade. It is a favorite with families. Their menu includes, soups/salads, Mexican dishes, hamburgers/sandwiches, and a variety of entrees. I particularly enjoy eating outside on the top floor balcony seating during summer. From there, you have an overlook of this historic district with its brick streets plus a small glimpse of the river.
It's central location along South Main makes Lewis & Clark's a good meal stop before or after a stroll along this old main street of St. Charles or for a visit down to the park along the Mississippi River which sometimes has bands playing in the pavilion there during warmer times of the year.
