OK but a bit pricey

The Tattooed Dog is an interesting addition to the Wentzville restaurant scene since it is a unique restaurant rather than just another chain venue. Located on Luetkenhaus Blvd. just north of Pete's Drive-in, The Tattooed Dog is well away from the chain restaurants on the Parkway.
The menu at The Tattooed Dog is mostly geared towards sandwiches plus soups and salads. We found the food portions to be fine but I felt the food prices were slightly high for this kind of venue. Our server was nice. She checked on us often and kept our drinks refilled. In fact, all the servers seemed to be attentive to the customers and welcoming.
We found the interior to be decent but the painting was a bit rough here and there. Although the employees cleaned the table tops after customer usage, they didn't seem so quick to sweep up litter on the floor and the windows needed a bit of Windex.
