The Meadows is a very nice outdoor shopping complex in Lake Saint Louis. There around 40 different stores, so there is something for everyone. Recently built, The Meadows is beautiful, fresh, and has a very natural feel to it. The landscaping is very nice, and there is a large plaza that offers a nice place to sit and rest. Located by the clock tower, this is also the location of movie nights, music nights, a farmers & artists market, and other events. The Meadows is not just about shopping; it is about enjoying the outdoors and free special events. There are a couple of restaurants in the Meadows that offer a large selection of excellent food.
Being an outdoor shopping complex, The Meadows isn't great during bad weather- any day with rain or snow, so plan your shopping days wisely. However, the one great benefit of outdoor shopping is the ability to park close to the store you want to visit- hop in and out- and not have to hike back to a mall entrance.
