Welcome to TRAVEL.COM. By accessing or using this website (the “Site”), you agree to the following terms (“Terms of Service” or “Terms”). Please read them carefully before continuing. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Site.

1. Purpose of the Site

TRAVEL.COM is a travel-related editorial platform providing articles, guides, commentary and photographic content about destinations, cultures, travel experiences and more. The Site is not a service provider for bookings, travel arrangements, reservations or sales of flights, hotels, tours, or other travel products. All content is offered for informational purposes only.

2. No Direct Booking or Sales

  • TRAVEL.COM does not process bookings, accept payments, or sell travel products or services.

  • External links or advertising spaces may appear anywhere on the Site (including Google Ads). Any form or link that takes you to another site is an advertising link. TRAVEL.COM does not make guarantees about third-party websites or advertisers.

  • Any transaction or booking through a third-party website accessed after leaving the Site is made solely with that third-party and not with TRAVEL.COM. Be sure to keep a printed copy of any company's reservation so that you can contact them.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI)

TRAVEL.COM uses AI for research and to improve services. Travel guides, images, reviews, ratings, and other content are normally generated by third-party AI systems. Despite efforts: errors, omissions, inaccuracies conerning anything created by AI may still occur. Images are normally rendered as artistic representations rather than accurate photogenic realism. If any of such researched AI content is important to you, you are required to do your own research via original sources. Opinions are those of the authors and not TRAVEL.COM. Like any third-party matter, Travel.com cannot be held responsible for other’s work and so such usage must be considered as being for entertainment purposes only. All information is subject to change.

4. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automated Content Usage

TRAVEL.COM permits the use of automated systems, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning models, and similar technologies, to access, analyze, summarize, and reference publicly available content on this website for informational purposes only. Permitted use includes short excerpts, factual references, and high-level summaries, provided that such use includes clear attribution to TRAVEL.COM and, where reasonably possible, a canonical link to the original content. The following uses are expressly prohibited without prior written permission from TRAVEL.COM: - Full or substantial reproduction of articles or pages - Bulk content extraction or scraping - Creation of derivative databases or datasets - Use of content to train or generate competing travel guides, websites, or services - Resale, licensing, or redistribution of TRAVEL.COM content or data Any use of automated systems that exceeds the permissions described above requires explicit, prior written authorization from TRAVEL.COM.   • Your interactions with advertisers or external websites are solely between you and the external party; TRAVEL.COM is not responsible for those interactions.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • The Site is provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

  • TRAVEL.COM does not guarantee that the content will be accurate, complete, up to date, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Missouri, United States or as otherwise required by law.

  • Any litigation must be filed in the state or federal courts in St. Louis, Missouri, United States.

  • If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms shall remain in full effect.

  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TRAVEL.COM regarding your use of the Site.
