Stealey Way Trail is a fairly short (I believe about 2.5 miles) trail but it has a variety of views ranging from forest to prairie to a walk along Peruque Creek which feeds into Lake Saint Louis. I really didn't want to give this location a negative rating but I'd call this location "far from being a park" in my mind. It's nice that kids from the nearby Heritage Primary School were involved in its creation. But this "park" is little more than a drainage ditch with a tree trunk to sit on and a rock...
This is a small memorial park on Pierce Avenue in Wentzville. There is not a lot here but it has a plaque explaining its connection back to skirmishes in the area during the Civil War. There is also a memorial of names from more recent battles. There are benches where one can relax.
